Claudelands sponsors AuSAE Certified Association Executive scholarship
We are proud to be helping support and further develop talented association professionals through the sponsorship of an Australasian Society of Association Executives (AuSAE) Certified Association Executive (CAE) scholarship.
Claudelands Conference & Exhibition Centre was one of five major New Zealand venues to offer a CAE scholarship, with Business Development Manager – Business Events Melissa Williams selecting Sally Bunce, Event Director at Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC), as our worthy recipient.
The CAE credential is a national and international marker of a committed association professional who has demonstrated the wide range of knowledge essential to manage an association in today’s challenging environment. The credential has only been offered in New Zealand this year, with this being the first round any scholarships have been offered.
The CAE scholarships cover the cost of the full study course including assisted study, CAE study materials and the exam.
Sally says she is “delighted and honoured” to accept the full scholarship.
“Having a formal, measurable programme for certified association executives ensures New Zealand keeps up with the latest in best practice and is immensely beneficial in our small but mighty corner of the globe,” she says. “Recognition of the value this benchmarking brings to the wider community of associations demonstrates Claudelands commitment to the sector.”
Congratulations Sally – we look forward to watching your progress throughout the programme!
