Claudelands impresses guests with ‘Table on The Terrace’
Even the supermoon came to the party when Claudelands Conference & Exhibition Centre treated a famil group to a relaxed alfresco dinner on Monday night [4 December].
Dubbed ‘Table on The Terrace’, the evening was a chance for the group to unwind and relax after a busy day exploring some of what the Hamilton & Waikato region has to offer its business event visitors.
Draped in fairy lights and festoons, the outdoor terrace was the perfect vantage point for guests to appreciate Claudelands’ surrounding greenspace – and the rising of the much-anticipated supermoon – while being entertained by live music from Rachel Barlow and a quiz throughout the evening.
Styled on a Kiwi summer barbeque, the menu was prepared by Claudelands’ award-winning catering partner Montana Catering and included everything from five-hour smoked beef short ribs and BBQ chicken kebabs, to summer salads and a Duck Island Ice Cream bar.
Claudelands Business Development Manager Melissa Williams said the team wanted to create a warm and informal vibe for guests.
“We knew the famil group were coming to the end of a busy day so we created a relaxed, social environment out on the terrace where they could mix and mingle, and soak in the beauty of a summer evening in the Waikato,” says Melissa.
“We truly are spoilt for choice at Claudelands when it comes to the versatility of the venue – our range of indoor and outdoor spaces means there really is a perfect spot for every style of event.”
