Accessibility car parks
There are a number of accessibility car parks available in the Heaphy Terrace Car Park (approximately 80m from the Arena Plaza) and in the Brooklyn Car Park (approximately 80m from the Exhibition Halls). Access to these car parks vary depending on the event/s taking place.
During events car parking wardens can direct you towards the appropriate car park.
Accessibility to the venue for wheelchair users
Access to the venue is via the Ground Floor. Lifts are available in the arena foyer and at the conference concourse. Accessible bathroom facilities are available on the lower and upper arena concourse of the Globox Arena, the lower conference concourse and beside the Brooklyn Rooms on the upper level.
Wheelchair accessible spaces are available in the arena, with locations varying based on the event.
Hearing Loop
Globox Arena and the Heaphy Rooms are fitted with a hearing aid loop which is accessible by turning your hearing device to the âTâ option. If you or your delegates/guests are attending a conference, dinner or meeting in the Heaphy Room or Arena and require use of this facility, please let your event organiser know so that appropriate arrangements can be made. Those that require this option when booking tickets for arena events should notify the ticket supplier who will be able to allocate hearing loop seating.
