Constellation Cup game confirmed for GLOBOX Arena, Claudelands

Netball New Zealand has confirmed the Silver Ferns' international test schedule for 2025, with the national side set to host the Constellation Cup against the Australian Diamonds.

Following the Taini Jamison Trophy series against South Africa, the Silver Ferns will shift their focus to the highly anticipated Constellation Cup against trans-Tasman rivals, the Australian Diamonds. The four-test series will see the first two matches played in Australia then return to New Zealand for the final two matches:

Game 1: Diamonds v Silver Ferns, Friday 17 October at John Cain Arena (Melbourne)
Game 2: Diamonds v Silver Ferns, Wednesday 22 October at Qudos Bank Arena (Sydney)
Game 3: Silver Ferns v Diamonds, Sunday 26 October at GLOBOX Arena, Claudelands (Hamilton)
Game 4: Silver Ferns v Diamonds, Wednesday 29 October at Wolfbrook Arena (Christchurch)

Silver Ferns head coach Dame Noeline Taurua is looking forward to the challenges that await her team.

“The Constellation Cup is always a fierce battle, and every match against the Diamonds is an opportunity to measure ourselves against one of the best teams in the world. We’ll be looking to put out strong performances both in Australia and on home soil,” Taurua said.

Netball New Zealand CEO Jennie Wyllie said the upcoming test schedule was a great opportunity for fans across the country to get behind the Silver Ferns.

“We’re thrilled to bring international netball to Auckland, Napier, Invercargill, Hamilton, and Christchurch this year. It’s always special to see the Ferns play in front of their home crowd, and we know our netball community will be out in force to support them,” she said.

Ticketing details for both series will be released in the coming months with tickets going on sale in June.
