Celebrate the best of summer at the Waikato Food and Wine Festival!
The Waikato Food and Wine Festival is beginning to take shape on the Claudelands Lawn, Hamilton. This Saturday March 1st and Sunday March 2nd will be home to over thirty local and regional suppliers of delicious food, stunning wines and beer.
Set to be Waikato’s best day out this summer, the lush green expanse next to Claudelands Arena will be a hive of activity and organisers look forward to opening the gates at 11am on Saturday to the public ready to celebrate the fifth year of the local event.
“We’re really thrilled to be presenting this event,” says Event Director Paul Blomfield, “it’s the one event in the Waikato region that really highlights the brilliant local cuisine, boutique wines, eclectic beers and cocktails that are on offer all in the one relaxed setting.”
Alongside the food and beverage options, the Kitchen Things Cooking Theatre will be a live and interactive ‘how to’ guide on mastering cooking tips and kitchen techniques.
