The Waikato A&P Show has a rich history going back to 1892.
With the completion of Claudelands redevelopment several years ago it is pleasing to be able to present Stud Stock competitions for Alpaca, Beef, Dairy Cattle, Sheep, Anglo-Nubian and Dairy Goats in an all-weather environment plus Equestrian competitions and Sheep Dog Trials as well as competitions for photography, woodchopping and lawnmower racing.
Come and experience our farmyard and poultry section. A must for all the family and a great opportunity for both rural and urban communities to come together and engage with an eclectic mix of farm animals and birds.
An array of trade stalls are to be found both indoors and outdoors as well as a variety of displays and entertainment.
