Claudelands was awarded 'Best Individual Stand' for MEETINGS 2013 at the tradeshow's closing dinner which was held on Thursday 27 June in Auckland.

The Claudelands stand bet some stiff competition from 180 other exhibitors. The judging criteria for this award was based on stand design, as well as product knowledge, the ability to sell and represent the region, and the professionalism of each meeting held.

The comment made by the judges was that the Claudelands stand was comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere and the exhibitors were prepared to talk about the destination and the bigger picture.

The award was presented by Promag Publisher, Stu Freeman to Claudelands' Business Development and Sales Manager, Jessica Vandy onstage at the tradeshow's closing function at Shed 10 in Auckland. The MC for the evening was X Factor host, Dominic Bowden.

Hamilton's Event Facilities Director of Business Development, Murray Jeffrey was extremely proud of the team for winning this recognition.

"I'm very excited that Claudelands has been recognised at New Zealand's most important conference industry trade event, as part of the Hamilton Waikato region. It is a direct reflection of a lot of very hard work, passion and dedication from our staff," he said.
