What parking is available at the venue?

Public parking is available for $5 (cash only) – this will include grass parking areas on site, depending on the weather. Parking is also available on the streets surrounding the venue.

Due to the large crowds we have at Claudelands we encourage you to arrive early and allow plenty of time to make your way into the venue.

For gate entrances please visit the relevant event listing on our website closer to the time.

Accessible parking spaces are available on site.

 

What different transport options are available to get to Claudelands?

What are the running times for the event?

Where running times are available they will be included on the relevant event listing on our website.

We recommend checking the event listing on the day of the event for final timings as these are subject to change, and the event may opt to go on slightly earlier or later than originally advertised.

 

I require mobility assistance – what should I do when I arrive at the venue?

If you or anyone in your party requires mobility assistance within Globox Arena, please alert one of our friendly staff members or ushers upon entry and they'll direct you to the lifts or provide any other help you might require.

 

Are there parent’s rooms available?

Yes, parent’s rooms and baby changing facilities are available inside the venue for your convenience.

 

Can I bring my stroller into the venue?

Strollers or push chairs are not permitted in the arena. There will be an allocated area inside the venue where strollers or push chairs can be parked during the show at your own risk, however we encourage you leave these at home where possible.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

You are able to bring home-made food for personal consumption, such as sandwiches, fruit, biscuits or cake that is not in commercial packaging.

What food is available on site?

Event-goers are encouraged to arrive early and grab a bite to eat from one of the Verge outlets or Double Shot, all on site at Globox Arena.

Food and drinks can be taken to your seat but all glass bottles must be emptied into plastic cups provided.

There is free drinking water available in the upper and lower concourses.

 

Are there Eftpos facilities available?

Eftpos is available on site however there are no ‘cash out’ facilities available.

 

Is smoking permitted?

Claudelands is a non-smoking venue. Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is not permitted at any time inside the venue.

 

Can I bring a camera?

Professional cameras, video or audio recording equipment are not permitted inside the venue, however personal cameras are allowed. Flash photography is not permitted during events.

 

Can children attend events unsupervised?

Our Conditions of Entry require children under the age of 14 years to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

 

What is your alcohol policy?

As we are a licenced venue you must not bring in or take out any alcohol without our prior permission. You may be asked to provide identification to prove your age if you wish to purchase alcohol. Forms of identification we will accept are:

  • A valid passport
  • New Zealand driver’s licence
  • HANZ 18+ card

If you become intoxicated you will be required to leave the event and venue.

 

What if I arrive late for an event?

In most cases you will be allowed in if you arrive late, however some events do have a hold out and you will need to wait until clearance is given to enter.

 

Do you have a bag/coat check?

Claudelands has no official coat check but you are more than welcome to contact any of our staff and we can secure this for you for a small charge. Alternatively there should be sufficient room under your seats to store bags and jackets (just please remember to collect them after the event).

 

I lost an item while I was at an event at Claudelands – who should I contact?
